[OPIC IH 목표] 약속시간에 늦었을 때

전화영어를 시작했다. 주어진 상황에 대해 내가 답변을 준비하면 그 것에 대해 첨삭해주는 방식으로 진행이 되는데 내가 답변을 만들면서도 이게 진짜 쓰이는 표현일까 싶을때가 있다. 그래도 내가 준비한 답변을 쭉 적어본다.

too는 필요없는 표현이라 지운 것 같다. a랑 the는 열심히 사용한다고 사용했는데도 늘 빠트리는 것같다. 관사를 빼먹으면 문장이 이상하게 들릴 수 있다며 주의하라는 조언을 들었다.

동생이 아래의 문장에 대해 다른 의견을 제시했다.

언젠가 어학당을 다닐때 선생님이 have to는 엄청난 갈망을 의미하기때문에 외국인들은 안 쓴다 라는 식으로 강조하셔서 기피하는 표현이었는데 미드같은 것들을 보면 또 완전 안 쓰는거 같지는 않고.. 근데 두 번째 문장이 더 자연스러운 것 같기도 하다.
